Her interior design and artistic training is useful when selecting colors, textures and blending a mix of traditional and contemporary styles and materials. David, the engineer, offers prospective customers peace of mind that their dream cabinets will be custom fit for the space available. The devil is in the details and it is critical that all the measurements add up. Do you need to access the pull-out spice drawer while the slide-out cabinet is open? When it comes to making a kitchen work for your needs, there is more than meets the eye.

More about the Boucher’s…

The family moved to the Mobile area for David’s a new engineering job in September 2004, only two weeks prior to the arrival of Hurricane Ivan. Unfortunately, the family lost the majority of their belongings, still in boxes, when two trees hit their barn. Then, eight months later, David lost his job as his company re-organized with major layoffs. The next August, Hurricane Katrina blew through, causing even more damage to their personal property. In all, 24 trees on their property were lost in both hurricanes.

As folks accustomed to action, and with both not working at the time, the Boucher’s joined the Corp of Engineers in re-building the region after Katrina. Their role was helping provide the site work for temporary trailers to house government workers and displaced citizens. The duo got a taste of working together, and it went well. The Boucher team were applauded for the amount of work they were able to accomplish and were recognized as one of the most productive teams on the job.

During this time, after a lot of soul-searching, faith and prayer, the Boucher’s found their true calling. With the experience and knowledge of an artist and an engineer, Kitchens Per Sé was born!
